An unusual out-of-water experience

After percolating all hot Summer long in the water here in San Carlos, Slappey was hauled out for a bit of maintenance and a paint job last week. Here are pictures of the souped-up hydraulic tractor-trailer ride through San Carlos to Marina Seca:

With luck, we’ll be all done and back into the water before we lose access to air-conditioned luxury. With even more luck, we won’t still need air-conditioning when November gets here.
